Property Plan

In 2018, the Lambda Phi Epsilon Alumni Association (LPEAA) formed a Property Committee to focus on both short and long term planning for maitenance of the Sisson Mansion.  The committte is headed by the LPEAA Property Manager David Hadock #452 and includes many Alumni that were House Managers while in college and Alumni that have civil engineering , property maintenance backgrounds, and generic building skills.

The committtee started by defining the one time and repeating costs to keep the Sisson Mansion in outstanding condition over the next 50 years.

The results are the "realistic round" numbers found below.  The numbers are "realistic" in total, as they represent the big picture cost to maintain the property over the next 50 years.  At the same time, they are "round" becuase they are not actual quotes from service providers.  They are based on past expenditures and industry knowledge and are therfore accurate for planning purposes.

When we reach the 100th Annniversary and look back, we will find that the exact timing and cost of the projects will vary some compared to this Property Plan.  Some projects will cost more and be needed sooner.  Some projects will cost less and can be delayed some.  Overall though, all the projects will need to have been addressed and the total expenditure for all projects will be close to this plan.

The Property Committe then prioritized the projects and started working on more detail on those deemed Immediate and those needing attention in the next 5 years.  And the work began !
