Over the 2017-2018 winter break the heat went off in the house and all of the radiators and almost every pipe burst. We affectionaly refer to this as Frozen Mansion. Insurance took care of all the repairs and PEX piping was used where possible as a replacement to help prevent further damage in the future.
From this and past issues over the years, the Front Room walls and ceiling do not match well anymore. In addition to the Front Door project, all of the walls and ceiling of the Front Room will be redone to create a uniform look and feel to 
match the historic nature of the house. This is the room that creates a first impression as people enter the Sisson Mansion and we want it looking great !
The wallpaper on the first floor was removed years ago as it deteriorated. All the walls on the first floor are simply painted white. The woodwork in all first floor rooms is still there and in good condition !
The cost of this project is being covered by insurance money from the Frozen Mansion claim.
