Annual Meeting

Posted on Jun 29 2020 - 10:20am

Since there is no Alumni Weekend this year due to Clarkson's cancellation of summer Alumni Reunion, there is also no in-person LPEAA Annual Meeting this year.

To replace this important event and help increase communications with Alumni, the LPEAA Board is creating "Annual Meeting - The Video" where each Board position will have a video segment updating you on the past year and plans for the next year.  Board members will be happy to answer your questions or take your suggests after the video is released.

We hope to have that completed in the next few weeks !

2020 TEP Alumni Weekend

Posted on Jun 08 2020 - 10:40am

on May 3rd, the LPEAA Board passed the following resolution.

  • LPEAA will follow Clarkson's decision on holding/cancelling their Summer Reunion for our TEP Alumni Weekend that held as the same time, and any guidelines Clarkson provides should it occur.

On May 14th Clarkson "postponed" their 2020 Alumni Reunion till 2021. i.e. there is no Clarkson Alumni Reunion this year.

LPEAA is therefore cancelling the TEP Alumni Weekend for July 2020.

More details to come on online activities in its place.

Stay safe everyone !

Endowment Matching for 60 days

Posted on Jun 14 2019 - 10:20pm

Alumnus Rich DiMarco #422 has a challenge for you !

He will match donations of $500 or less to the Endowment Fund for the next 60 days. Rich believes that getting everyone involved at all levels with the Endowment Fund is important. A large number of medium size donations are just as important as a small number of large donations.

If you donate $500 to the Endowment Fund, you will get a $500 match and become a 100th Bridge Builder.

Alumnus Brian K. Dann #383 (aka Sparky) issued a $5K challenge.

Brian donated $5,000 to the Endowment Fund and challenged those that had the means to do the same.

Including Brian there have been three (3) donations that have stemmed from his challenge.

To participate, please contact the Endowment Fund Chair for details on how to send a check.  We want to avoid PayPal fees on these larger donations.

Snaps, brother Dann !

Snaps to those that have accepted his challenge !

2020 LPEAA Board Elections and Bylaw updates

Posted on May 30 2019 - 10:22pm

It is time again for Board Elections !  We moved to online voting last year and it was a huge success with 50% more participation than a typical Alumni Weekend.

This year Alumni will also be voting to accept/reject Bylaw updated proposed by the LPEAA Board.

Each year we elect five (5) Board Members to the Alumni Association.  Each Board Member serves a term of three (3) years.  That gives us fifteen (15) Board Members at any given time.

The Sisson Mansion has been a cornerstone of the Lambda Phi Epsilon (ΛΦΕ) chapter of Tau Epsilon Phi (ΤΕΦ) at Clarkson since it was purchased in 1968. Its stately presence, historic background, two story porch, palatial interior, ornate woodworking, and unique location on the river have molded our fraternity since inception.
