The creation of the Endowment Fund has driven an update of the entire set of LPEAA Bylaws. This is a good thing, since the current bylaws being used are almost 50 years old. They needed review and adjustment !
The first change is a whole new section for the Endowment Fund.
Then the rest of the LPEAA Bylaws was reviewed in terms of current bylaw formats and changes based on current times.
- Original LPEAA Bylaws
- Originally written in in the early 1970s
- Modified very slightly in the 1990s and 2000s
- This is what LPEAA currently uses today
- Proposed new LPEAA Bylaws
- A complete rewrite, while keeping the original intent
- Addition of the Endowment Fund section

- For those that don't want to read everything line by line, this document will give you key points of any changes that you can use to make voting decisions
In addition to Board Elections this year, voting will add a single question about the new proposed LPEAA Bylaws - Accept or Reject.
