2022 LPEAA Board Elections

It is time again for the Board Election!  Over 100 alumni voted last year in 2020, surpassing 2020's record of 90. We continue to see increased involvement from all generations of Alumni as well. Make sure you contact your fellow brothers to make sure we continue to see our voting increase every year!

 

Each year we elect five (5) Board Members to the Alumni Association.  Each Board Member serves a term of three (3) years.  That gives us fifteen (15) Board Members at any given time.

 

The fifteen (15) Board Members then elect an Executive Board consisting of the following positions: Chair, Vice Chair, Property Manager, Treasurer, and Secretary.  Additional positions include: National Liaison, Clarkson/GAC Liaison, Active Liaison as well as Committee Chairs and members.  You can view the current LPEAA Board at www.lpeaa.com/board.

 

Board meetings occur on the first Sunday of every month via conference call.

 

Successfully running the Alumni Association requires fifteen (15) plus volunteers actively involved.  We encourage you to get involved.  Being on the board is NOT a full-time job and the amount of time you need will vary with how involved you want to get.  Involvement during the first year is usually pretty small as you learn the ropes.  The LPEAA Board has approved Board Member Expectations, which will help guide members on what is expected of them.

 

2021 Board Election Process/Dates

 

Nominations:

  • 5/16 through 5/30
  • You can nominate yourself or someone else by sending an email to the LPEAA Secretary (710lpe@gmail,com) or by commenting on the TEP-LPE Open Discussion Facebook Page - look for the Nomination post.
  • Each nomination needs to be seconded.
  • Each nomination needs to be accepted by the person being nominated.

 

Nominee Statements

  • 6/3 through 6/10
  • I will collect background/statements from each nominee.
  • They will be posted on the Alumni Website https://www.lpeaa.com/ during voting.

 

Voting

  • 6/11 through 6/28
  • www.lpeaa.com/elections
  • Alumni can see nominees and their profiles.
  • Alumni can vote for up to (5) of the nominees.
  • Results we be sent via email and posted to Facebook the 6/26
